Otsego Living
The Otsego community offers many special ways to enjoy the beautiful seasons of Michigan. From picnics and family gatherings in the many parks to scenic views while golfing or skiing, there is something for all to enjoy. Stroll down the river walk and stop by the historical museum for interesting displays and programs. Or, in the winter, bring your skates to enjoy ice skating in the same area of town. Stop by a variety of restaurants or the corner coffee shop, Mezzo, where you can stroll through the marketplace shop with your mug of hot coffee. Both the public library and schools are within walking distance of Memorial Park where history comes alive with an Army tank and the VFW Post 3030's memorial. Enjoy the playground at the park, or bring a tennis racquet, basketball or bat to utilize the facilities there.
Otsego has hosted the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball tournament for several years in August. Sign up or stop by and watch some games for that weekend. September showcases the Otsego Creative Arts Festival with an antique car show, live music and activities around town. And don't miss the Hometown Christmas celebration at the beginning of December. Any time of year, you'll find Otsego enjoyable and charming.
